My Spouse Is Cheating On Me, What Do I Do? Discover 3 Steps To Getting Through Any Affair

in Affair
I strongly believe that an affair is the most difficult thing a person can go through. If you want the advice of someone who's been through it, check out these 3 tips to get you through this difficult time.

I'm sure that you've heard the countless stats regarding the rise in affairs...It's been widely estimated that in approximately 60% of marriages, one or the other spouse (or both) will have an affair. Even though this is one of the saddest things I've ever heard, it's the truth, and it means that it's important than ever that you know how to get through an affair.

Like I said above, I've been there. My wife cheated on me with another man and it will likely be the most traumatic thing to happen to me in my entire life. I loved my wife dearly, and having her betray me like that was...Very difficult.

Looking back, there are 3 things that I wish I'd done:

"Assume the Worst"

This is the single biggest tip that I can give you, and if you take nothing else from this article, take this. Get your heart out of the situation as quickly as you possibly can. I know that's easier said than done, but here's the thing:

The fact that you even suspect an affair means that there's about an 80 - 85% chance that you're right (At least, according to the statistics). What that means for you is that even though there's a slight chance you could be wrong, from here on out you should operate on the assumption that your spouse is, in fact, cheating on you.

I know it sucks, but it's the truth. Don't let your spouse know your suspicions, but always in the back of your head be keeping an eye open for anything suspicious.

"Get Emotionless"

Listen, your spouse is going to mess up. There are mistakes in every affair that will directly lead to being caught, but many times the other spouse is too emotional from all the doubt and denial that they can't see what's right in front of them. Emotion clouds your vision and your logic, and if you're too emotional it can make it very difficult to catch an affair.

Luckily, since we've already assumed the worst we don't have to worry about denial.

Here's what you should do: Keep in mind that if your spouse is cheating on you, there's nothing you can do about it right now. It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. They're the ones with the problem, not you.

The quicker you become emotionally distant from this affair, the quicker you'll be able to see what's right in front of you. Take a deep breath, assume the worst, and start working towards finding proof.

"Find Physical Evidence ASAP"

The sooner you can 100% confirm or deny your partner's infidelity, the sooner you'll be able to move on with your life (and your relationship). And hey, if they're innocent than the sooner you find evidence, the sooner you can put this whole affair business behind you, and focus on the problems that caused you to be suspicious in the first place.

So how do you find physical evidence?
